Ian Blance Consulting (IBC) is an independent practice specialising in financial asset valuations and associated risk. IBC works with a variety of clients in the valuations and risk area, ranging from valuations users and regulators through to vendors.
IBC specialise in analysis and advice in a number of key areas in this field, including user best practice and process, regulation and compliance, and valuations vendor options. We would be pleased to discuss any requirements you may have in these or any associated areas.

IBC's principal, Ian Blance has over 20 years experience in the financial markets focused on research and valuation of securities and derivatives. He is a regular commentator on valuation and risk issues in the media and a frequent conference speaker.
Ian is also currently the Technical Advisor to the Financial Experts Working Group of the International Valuations Standards Board (see www.ivsc.org).
In his earlier career, Ian spent 12 years with Interactive Data Corporation, setting up and building their fixed income valuations business in Europe and subsequently running the Evaluation Division out of New York.
Before Interactive Data, Ian was a economist and senior bond strategist in investment banking.
